With Simon Cowell ’s contract up this year, American Idol producers are desperate to find a worthy replacement for the sourpuss Brit who propelled the show to success. Lots of names have been thrown around as possible successors for Cowell , but the most notable (and most shocking) is radio bad boy, Howard Stern… With Stern’s contract with Sirius up in 2011, the shock jock is allegedly lobbying for the position on the American Idol judging panel.
