  An orphan,[8] Amy Pond meets The Doctor in the first episode of the 2010 series,[9][10] "The Eleventh Hour", fresh from his regeneration and crashing the TARDIS into the Ponds' back garden, the Doctor is dressed in the torn and soiled remains of the Tenth Doctor's attire and spits out each of the many foods he requests from Amy.
